Academy Funeral Services have a large range of locally sourced caskets and urns available in different types of wood, including coloured caskets, some with tasteful scenes, flowers and patterns laminated onto the wood, and a varied selection of handles.

Choices can depend on cost, what appeals, and what you regard as a fitting tribute to the deceased.

The staff at Academy can guide you through the various style and assist in selecting the most fitting option. We have an onsite showroom where you can see samples of the product available, to assist with making your choice.

We partner with Baldwin Manufacturing in Christchurch to offer you a large range or caskets and urns, including alternative, eco-friendly options such as woollen or sustainable New Zealand pine caskets which will lessen your environmental footprint.
