McARTHUR,  Alastair Charles – Passed away peacefully, on Saturday June 1, 2024, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Merle, much loved Dad and father-in-law of John and Mandy, and Peter and Janet. Loved Grandad of Nicholas, and the late Amy, and Christopher. A Celebration of Alastair’s life will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Friday, June 7, at 2.00pm. Private cremation thereafter.
