Katherine Mary -Kate- Hays

On March 7, 2026, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital; aged 57 years. Dearly loved wife of Brian and mother of Thomas. Much loved daughter of Marian and the late Ian Sawers (Timaru), loved sister and sister-in-law of Bridget and Mike Hoffman and Michael and Michele Sawers, loved Aunty of Cameron, Fraser and Georgia; Dylan and Lisa, and Kim, and will be sadly missed by Brian’s children Catherine, and Cameron. Special thanks to Dementia Canterbury and the Special Care Team at Diana Isaac Retirement Village.
