Betty Mary Crean (nee Harwood)

Passed peacefully, on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Christchurch Hospital: aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Francis WJ Crean, much loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Sharyn and Bob, Paula and Colin, Delwyn and Ziv, Joanne, and Michelle, dearly loved Nana of Christopher, Rebecca and Ronan; Eugene; Yotam and Sarah, Tal and Ran; Benjamin and Katie, Daniel and Noemie, Shannon, and great-grandmother of Maia; and Cooper. Betty will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends. A special thank you to all the staff of Albarosa Resthome for all their wonderful care of Betty.
