Bruce Purdon

PURDON, Bruce. It is with deep sadness that the Purdon family would like to acknowledge the passing of Bruce on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital; aged 66. The father of Josh Graeme Purdon and the late Samuel James Purdon and Sam’s wife, Samantha.

Adored Poppa to Luna James. A loved brother, uncle, and friend to many.

He was a keen sportsman, a humble man that was respected by all. A man of kindness, strength, and humor.

A service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held at the Prebbleton Rugby Club, 80 Tosswill Road, Prebbleton, on Monday, June 10 at 2.00pm.
