Thomas Courtenay (Courtenay) Ellis

Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Burwood Hospital; aged 94 years. Devoted husband of the late Fay, much loved and cherished Dad and father-in-law of Kay and John Baird, Pauline, and John Ellis, loved and treasured Poppa/Big Pop/Grandpop of his eight grandchildren and their partners and his eleven great grandchildren. Courtenay will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. A special thank you to Bupa Ashford, Christchurch Hospital and Burwood Hospital, for their amazing care and kindness to Courtenay and his family. A Celebration of Courtenay’s life will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Tuesday, June 3, at 2.00pm.
