James Bruce "Bruce" Craik

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family after a short illness, on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Bupa Parkstone Care Home; aged 88 years. Dearly loved and treasured husband and best friend of Norah for almost 70 years, the love of each other’s lives, cherished dad of Philippa and Steven Hayward, Warren and Debbie Craik, Debbie and Peter Moody, Kerri and Jeff Irving, Kevin and the late Victoria Craik, and friend of Julia. Treasured Grandad of Stuart and Andrea; Kylie and Michael; Jessica and the late Andrew; Liam and Ryan; Daniel and Cameron and their partners, adored Great-Grandad of Harlem, Koa, Nora, Teddy and Dorothy. Bruce will be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends. A special thank you to the care home for all their love and care of Bruce and his family. A Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at The Show Gate, Riccarton Park, 165 Racecourse Road, Sockburn, parking via Gate 2, on Wednesday, March 18, at 2.00pm.
