David died peacefully, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in his 72^nd year. Proud and loving father of John and his partner Rebecca, a much loved Grandad of his grandchildren; Alicia, Ayana, Darnae, and Isaac, dearly loved partner of Larry Beck, loved brother of Jacqueline and Merv Gilbert, Doreen and Roye Daniel, and Michael and Marcelle Best. David departed this world surrounded by peace and love. A special thanks to the staff and carers at Arvida Park Lane for their loving care of David over the last 6 months. A Memorial Service for David will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Sunday, June 15, at 1.00pm.
